Roles and Device Access
LiveLast updated: 2026-07-10
HRAP access is controlled by role, permission preset, surface, and device rules. This matters because Suite, Suite mobile, Lite, and Lite desktop are not interchangeable.
Permission presets
| Preset | Surfaces | Typical actions |
|---|---|---|
| Executive | Suite, Suite mobile | Full organization, workforce, recruitment, outsourcing, payroll, finance, learning, compliance, communication, reports, billing, administration, and Calmorah access |
| HR Manager | Suite, Suite mobile | HR operations, recruitment, performance, learning, compliance, communication, reports, and Calmorah |
| Trainer | Suite, Lite, Lite desktop | Training operations and learning workspace |
| HR Consultant | Suite, Lite, Lite desktop | Consultant workspace, reports, field operations, leave approval |
| Client User | Suite | Client portal |
| Training Admin | Suite | Learning, training operations, reports |
| Employee / Learner | Lite, Lite desktop | Employee workspace, learning workspace, performance, clock-in, field operations |
Suite device behavior
Suite desktop and tablet expose the full administrator workspace according to role. Suite mobile resolves to a mobile executive surface. Users without Suite mobile access should use Lite or desktop Suite.
Lite device behavior
Lite is mobile-first. Desktop access is intentionally narrower. The desktop-friendly Lite areas are dashboard home, profile, documents, learning, KPI, and consultant workspace. Attendance and selfie update flows are mobile-only.
Troubleshooting access
- If a Suite page is missing, confirm the preset includes the required action.
- If Suite mobile is locked, use desktop Suite or switch to Lite.
- If a Lite page redirects on desktop, use mobile for the field workflow.
- If a learning page is empty, confirm the user is enrolled, assigned, or allowed to use marketplace courses.
