HRAP exams validate course completion and can drive certificate issuance. The upgraded editor supports final exam shells, sections, question management, scoring, attempts, and security settings.
Exam settings

| Max violations | Number of focus or fullscreen violations allowed |
Question structure
Exams can use sections to group questions. Questions should be auto-graded where possible. Manual-review questions are not the preferred exam path in the current editor.
Certificate alignment
Certificate template and exam security level are saved together. When a course issues certificates, administrators should review the final exam before publishing or assigning the course.
Learner behavior
Lite presents exams from the course player. The exam experience can enter a restricted mode, track focus or fullscreen rules, save answers, and enforce attempt rules according to the course settings.
Troubleshooting exams
- If learners cannot start an exam, confirm all required lessons are complete.
- If certificates are not issued, confirm the final exam exists and the learner passed.
- If learners report blocked navigation, check backtracking and resume settings.
- If violations are too strict, review fullscreen and focus monitoring settings.
