  • Course status.
  • Certificate enabled or disabled.
  • Certificate template when certificates are enabled.
  • Passing score and exam alignment.
  • Marketplace visibility and company access rules.

Course structure

LayerPurpose

Publishing and assignment

A course should not be assigned until its core content, exam, and certificate settings are reviewed. Published marketplace courses remain discoverable as marketplace items, while company-specific assignment determines what an employer's learners see as assigned training.

Best practices

  • Use short course summaries that explain the outcome clearly.
  • Keep modules small enough for learners to complete in one sitting.
  • Add a final exam before enabling certificates.
  • Use the disabled certificate path for courses that should not issue certificates.
  • Confirm company assignment after publishing.
  • Review assigned learner visibility from Lite before announcing a course.
