Getting Started with Praxis

Live

Last updated: 2026-07-10

Use this guide to prepare a Praxis workspace for useful team work without overwhelming members with too many modules at once.

Before you begin

Choose one workflow the team understands well, such as project delivery, recurring meetings, content review, client requests, or approvals. Decide who owns the workspace and who should participate in the first test.

Setup steps

  1. Create a workspace or accept the invitation sent by its owner.
  2. Complete your profile and confirm you are in the correct workspace.
  3. Invite a small group of members.
  4. Select the modules needed for the first workflow.
  5. Create the main item, such as a project, document, room, form, or approval.
  6. Add owners, dates, related files, and supporting tasks.
  7. Complete the workflow once with the test group.
  8. Improve names, permissions, and notifications before inviting everyone else.

Good first workflows

  • Project delivery: create a project brief, tasks, meeting room, files, and approval points.
  • Recurring meetings: create a room, agenda, shared notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Content review: draft a document, collect feedback, and request approval.
  • External intake: publish a form and decide how submissions will be reviewed and assigned.
  • Client coordination: share only the relevant room, booking page, form, or file.

Invite and access guidance

  • Invite people using the email address they use for Cizonet.
  • Confirm each person can see the modules required for their role.
  • Avoid giving every member workspace-owner access.
  • Test public links in a private browser before sharing them.
  • Remove or update access when a project or external collaboration ends.
Keep the first setup focused

A smaller, complete workflow is more useful than a workspace filled with empty modules. Expand after the team has a clear operating habit.

First-week checklist

  • Members know where to find current priorities.
  • Every task or action has an owner.
  • Meeting notes lead to visible follow-up work.
  • Important files are stored in the right place.
  • External links reveal only the intended content.
  • The team agrees on naming and archive practices.

If something is missing

Ask the workspace owner to confirm your membership, access level, and enabled modules. If an external link fails, request a fresh link and confirm it has not expired or been disabled.
